I am a Power Engineering Professional with 27
years of experience in power sector. I have 22 years of experience in Power Systems in State Electric Power Utility, 4 years
in U.P. State Electricity Regulatory Commission, 1 year in National Standard organization and 1 year in World Bank funded
project for State Health Sector in procurement of equipments.
I was born on 30th September, 1955 in Agra the ‘Taj
city’ of India. My father (1926-1992) was an eminent
surgeon of his times. He retired as a head of state medical department as Director. My other two brothers are Doctors too
in Medical department and my elder sister is a professor in a reputed state university.
My wife Keerti Srivastava runs a boutique as
her hobby, and my only son Amit Srivastava is an Electronics and Communication Engineer and is pursuing his Masters degree
from University of Pittsburgh, U.S .
I am a voracious reader, and I am fond of old
Hindi and English classics. The likes of Kishore Kumar and Mohd Rafi and ABBA, BEETLES,Beegees are my favourite.
I play Bridge and also like playing and watching Cricket.
